Day 21, Level 3

*clap clap*  Okay, September Shredders, who's still with me?  We made it to Level 3!  Do you hate me now?  Level 3 is TOUGH.  No joke.  Walking pushups?!  Boxing with arm weights?!  Plyometrics?! (Having flashbacks to my college soccer days with that.)
The only move I enjoyed was at the beginning.  The "Superman" pose.  Lay flat on my belly?  Sure, Jillian!  I can do that!  What?  You want me to raise my arms, chest and legs at the same time?!  Ummm...can I just lay here instead?
So.  The moves can only get easier, right?  I think back to how at the end of Levels 1 and 2, I was, dare I say, bored?  I'm having a hard time thinking that Level 3 is going to be the same.  We shall see!

I know that I asked what could be sweatier than Level 2... but today I got my answer:  Level 3. Today's workout was tough, no doubt about it. In the first 5 minutes I felt like my legs and arms were trembling...I was worried I was gonna fall out of a plank pose and onto my face!
Either way, it's definitely a challenge but I'm up for it. I actually am getting my "reward" for Shredding - highlights and a haircut - today! Go Shredders go!!

Woo-hoot. We are on Level 3 girls!! Can't believe it. Yes, I have skipped a few days. No one is going to make me feel worse about it than I already do. Really wanted to stick with this and do 30 consecutive days BUT my aging body had other ideas and ya know what? That's gonna have to be OK. I am thoroughly planning on continuing even after the 30 days are up... call it make-up days, or what have you. Until we find something else to do.
I like Level 3. I enjoy the plank poses and there was a lot of Pilates-inspired moved for the abs. (I heart Pilates.)
So up and onward... let's finish BIG, Shredders!! Congrats to all who have gotten this far, and to those who have not skipped a day. YOU ROCK!

Ouch! Oh my goodness! This workout is killing me...quite literally. Is anyone else having pain in their right shoulder...just behind the shoulder blade? I wake up in pain, and every time I lift my arm, I have pain. Is this normal?
Since I missed most of last week, I didn't move on to Level 3. I'm still suffering through Level 2.
I hope everyone is keeping up. I am sure trying!

I'll be honest, I haven't posted over the last few days because I haven't still been with you. And, by that, I mean I haven't shredded for 3 days. I've got lots of excuses. I know. I'm feelin the shame. But you've just inspired me to definitely get back on it again tonight!

I started L3 today as well and did it seem like Jillian took the music up a notch during the warm up. Not sure if it's just me or not....

Okay, you said walking pushups! Now I'm sold. I read "making the cut" and it was awesome but I'm going to have to get off my duff and buy 30 day shred. I want ass cheeks that hurt and I want to do walking pushups!

Are you using the book or a video? I guess I could read around and find out. lol.
