Day 22, Level 3

Well, my AM (morning) working out attempt...
Total FAIL.
I suck at waking up earlier than I have to. Even though I reset my alarm after it started blaring at 6:20, I think I actually lost sleep last night.
Why?
Because I actually had nightmares about having to wake up earlier to exercise.
Pathetic, right?
It wasn't just one nightmare either-- it was several.
I did Shred right before dinner though and it hurt so good. I'm still doing Level Two (I'm not ready for more abuse), but my endurance seemed better tonight!

Why do the majority of these moves cause my hips to scream in agony? That Superman move? Hurts my hip bones to the point where I don't know if I'll be able to do it tomorrow. It's like they're being ground into the floor!
Either way, I am barely able to do half of the moves at this point... they're just hard! But I'm excited to keep it going!

Well, Sarah, those 2 pounds ended up around MY middle!! Seriously...I was down 5, now I am up 2...but in all fairness, I did eat Death by Chocolate (a little) on Sunday and my "auntie flo" is due this week so I am bloated!!
I struggled with the plank/weights/leglift move myself this morning. And my neck hurts. Think I am not relaxing it enough during the "Superman" move. But other than that, my knees felt pretty good this morning. I actually have been able to do the squats/jumps at the end and the jump/lunge move. Still can't manage the jumping jacks though. I am planning on heading to Pilates again tonight just to stretch everything out... provided I feel up to it.
Is it bad that while we were Shredding this morning, my husband and I were discussing dinner?

You know what's sore on me, strangely enough?  My ASS CHEEKS.  Ouch.  Some of those exercises in Level 3 are mighty intimidating.  I'm not sure if I'll EVER be able to hold that plank pose WITH WEIGHTS and then lift my leg.  I totally do Anita's modified move on my knees instead, and even that is tough.
I actually dared to weigh myself this morning and I'm down 2 pounds!  I'm pretty certain that it's just water weight BUT STILL!
Where's all my September Shredders??  I want to hear from more of you today!

Hi Girls! I just found your blog yesterday. I am also a September Shredder! I so wish I found this blog sooner! Today was Day 20 for me! I just finished Level 2 and tomorrow is Day 1 of Level 3! So I'm only 2 days behind you guys. I LOVE the 30 Day Shred! I haven't missed a day yet! I feel great! Keep up the good work everyone! It's all totally worth it!

Not pathetic. Some people just aren't morning people. I have to exercise in the evenings. I can't quite get up (literally...I have lupus) too early.

I stand in awe of you girls! I'm starting a Jillian Anderson workout routine soon (hopefully tonight, but the boys have judo tonight). It's not the shred one.

Is everyone losing inches, firming up, etc etc etc?
