I am sick. Real sick. The kind of sick where you can barely get out of bed. I will spare you the details, but in a nut shell: both ends. That should explain it. Flu, I think.
I did NOT Shred yesterday. I feel OK about it considering I ate NOTHING all day. So that has to count for something, right? I think I definitely got rid of more calories than I took in over the last 2 days!
Today I have to go into the office for a minimal amount of time... don't ya just hate when work gets in the way of resting? I actually have major plans tonight with my baby sister for her birthday BUT that is going to depend on how well I feel. So I am hoping to get home, Shred, nap, then shower. We shall see how it goes.
Only 5 more days girls! Keep it up!!

Whew. Just finished my Day 25 (IN A ROW)!!! You know how Jillian says that her workout is a good way to relief stress? I kinda think she's right. I'm totally stressed (if you read my blog you'll know that all 4 males living under my roof are sick right now...) so it felt empowering to even just carve out those 20 minutes of ME TIME to sweat and focus on my body.
Also? I ordered another one of Jillian's DVDs from Amazon and previewed it (meaning sitting down and watching - not partaking). It's called No More Trouble Zones and consists of a 40-minute workout. (It got great reviews on Amazon!)
The nice thing about the DVD though is that on the Main Menu you can either choose to do the entire 40-minutes, or you can Select a Circuit. The circuits are broken into (1) a 5 min warmup; (2) shoulders and legs; (3) chest and abs; (4) biceps and butt; (5) thighs and triceps; (6) core; (7) upper body and core; (8) lower body and core; and (9) cool down.
So for October, I think my neighbor Paula and I have decided that every morning, we're either going to walk, Shred or try this new DVD.
What will YOU be doing in October?
